An all-new crossover vehicle based on the award-winning Honda Accord went on sale in the winter of 2009 as the "Crosstour".

The 2012 Honda Crosstour's styling comes from the stable foundation of the Accord Sedan. The design is similar to the distinctive shape of the Accord, but differences can be found throughout. The exterior is completely different than any other Accord. The most noticeable differences are the overall height of the body from the floor to the roof and the obvious design differences in the rear of the vehicle to accommodate the sloped roofline and backend.

The larger body and increased clearance of the 2012 Accord Crosstour lend to a broader view of the driver's surroundings. The increased room also makes this model easier to enter and exit. This model also includes Advanced Compatibility Engineering or ACE in the body structure.
